Another great read my friend! I, likewise had a pretty good experience with Me back in the day and ran it as my daily driver throughout high school. It also holds an oddly sweet spot in my heart because it was the OS I ran when I started getting more into music and gaming. First games I bought for it were Jedi Outcast and Black & White. Also played a lot of early flash games on it and that was the machine I started getting into writing with.
Windows Me wasn’t the best, not by a long shot. However, in my book I’d say it was kneecapped in much the same way Vista was with issues early on that tarnished its reputation and people just never gave it a fair shake after that.
